How the Deletion Process Works

We've designed our data deletion process to be simple, transparent, and fast. Here's exactly what happens when you submit a request:

Submit Your Request
Send an email to privacy@replyly.io from the email address associated with your Replyly account. Include your Instagram username to help us locate your data quickly. You can also click the "Send Deletion Request" button above which pre-fills the email template.

Identity Verification (within 48 hours)
To protect your security, we may verify your identity before processing the request. We'll respond within 48 hours confirming we've received your request and providing a unique tracking reference number (e.g., DEL-2025-XXXXX).

Data Deletion Executed (within 30 days)
We will permanently delete all your personal data from our active production databases, including your Instagram tokens, account details, automation configurations, FCM device token, credit history, and activity logs. Automated backups are overwritten within 90 days.

Confirmation Sent
Once deletion is complete, we'll send you a written confirmation to your email address. You can also check the status of your request at any time by replying to your original deletion request email with your reference number.

What Data Gets Deleted

Here is a complete, transparent breakdown of every type of data we hold and what happens to it upon a valid deletion request:

Financial Records Exception

We are required by law (including Indian GST regulations and international accounting standards) to retain financial transaction records for up to 7 years. These records are limited to transaction amounts, dates, and anonymized invoice IDs — they do not contain your Instagram data or automation content.

Disconnecting via Facebook / Instagram Settings

In addition to contacting us directly, you can also trigger data deletion by revoking Replyly.io's access from within your Facebook or Instagram settings. When you do this, Meta sends us a deauthorization signal and we automatically delete your data within 48 hours.

To remove Replyly.io from your Instagram / Facebook account:

Go to Facebook Settings
Open Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Security and Login → Apps and Websites

Find Replyly
Search for "Replyly" in the list of connected apps under "Active" or "Expired" apps.

Remove and Request Deletion
Click "Remove" next to Replyly. You'll be asked whether you also want to delete the data Replyly has collected. Click "Delete all information" to trigger our automatic data deletion callback.

Check Your Deletion Status
You can check the status of your data deletion by visiting this page and entering your reference number, or by emailing privacy@replyly.io.

Automatic Callback

Replyly.io implements Meta's required Data Deletion Callback URL. When you remove our app from your Facebook settings and request data deletion, Meta automatically notifies our servers, which immediately initiates the deletion pipeline — no additional action required from you.

After submitting a deletion request, you'll receive a unique reference number (e.g., DEL-2025-XXXXX). You can use this to verify the status of your deletion at any time.

You have the right to data deletion under applicable privacy laws including GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), and India's DPDPA 2023. If you believe your deletion request has not been properly handled, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
